lyrics

Ceļa putekļi sejā triec, vēlās tie, lai dzīvi beidz,
Svešinieku pieņemt liegts, kaut ar dzīvē būtu liekts.
Pasaulē šajā viņš itin lieks, vēlās tā, lai nāvē mieg,
Nejūtība apņēmusi nemirstībai lemto dvēsli.
Ceļinieka – raganas cīniņš atstājis šeit tuksneša smilti,
Pazudusi sirdij balss, nogalēts šai prātā naids.
Nolemts viņš pasauli klīst, aizmirsis savu agrāko dzīvi,
Pazudis Svešinieks pasaulei šai – par kauju prāts bij' cena.

piedz.
Naida pilniem skatieniem muļķais pūlis uz viņu lūr,
Nezin tie viņa ceļu.
Kāda vella dēļ šis pūlis savās acīs baļķus neredz,
Citos skabargas tie meklē?
Svešinieka mēmo masku, kāpēc visi ienīst to,
Ne tā kādam dara ļaunu, ne tā kādam sāpes nes!

Pat Svešiniekam bija vārds, tā skaņu vairs vējš vien zin,
Mājās sieva gaidīj' viņu, mazs puisītis par tēvu sauca.
Prātā kauju uzsākt nācās, gaisma, tumsa nervus kāva,
Karā šajā zaudē viņš – uz mūžu pamet prāts!
Pamet sievu, atstāj dēlu, dodas ceļā, nezinot mērķi,
Tagad jaunu dzīvu meklē kaut zin, ka padoties grib.
Mēneši, gadi rit bez mitas, Svešinieks viņš visur ir,
Galu galā atmet roku, atrod torni ļaužu lenktu.

piedz.

Pūlis redz – ķermenis krīt. Pieiet tuvāk – prātu redzēt.
Atlauž dūri, izvelk vēsti, izlasa un smejot nomet.
Cits šo lapu domīgs paceļ, izlasa un aiziet prom.
Vai tad tiešām nepazini Svešinieka dārgo dēlu?
Tas, reiz tēvu meklēt gājis, cerējis un Dievu lūdzis,
Beidzot atradis to beigtu, salauztu un visiem svešu.
Drīz tā galvā Saule ausīs, dēla galvā cīņa dārdēs,
Atkal Ceļinieks tad celsies, Burvei galvu nocirst meklēs!

...

Dust of a road in the face hit, wish they a life to end,
To accept the Stranger is forbidden even if in life he would've been bent.
In this World he's rather unwanted, it wants so that in death he falls asleep,
Numbness has embraced for the immortality doomed soul.
The struggle of Wanderer and Hag has left here desert's sand,
Vanished is the voice of the heart, slayed is the hatred in this mind.
Doomed he is to wander the World, forgotten his former life,
Lost is the Stranger for this World- for the battle price was the mind.

Chorus:
With looks full of hatred the mindless crowd leers at him,
They don't know his way.
Why for hell's sake this crowd doesn't see logs in their eyes,
In others splinters they seek.
The mute mask of Wanderer, why does everyone hate it,
Not that it harms anybody, nor that it brings pain for anybody!

Even the Stranger had a name, it's sound only wind knows anymore,
At home a wife awaited him, a small boy called him a father.
A battle of mind was demanded to start, light and darkness slaughtered nerves,
In this war looses he- forever left by the mind!
Abandons the wife, deserts the son, sets out, not knowing the goal.
Now he seeks for a new life, even though knows that to give up he wants.
Months, years pass without stopping, a Stranger everywhere he is,
After all, gives he up, finds a tower surrounded by folk.

Chorus

The crowd sees- a body falls. Walks up- to see the mind.
Breaks open the fist, draws out a message, reads it and throws down laughing.
Another one thoughtfully picks this sheet up, reads and goes away.
Did you not really recognize Stranger's precious son?
He once went to look for the father, hoped and prayed to the God,
Finally found him dead, broken and unknown to all.
Soon the Sun will dawn in his mind, in the head of the Son a battle will thunder,
The Wanderer again will rise, will seek to behead the Hag!
